The journey began with Simba Trailers, manufacturing high-quality semi-trailers, including flatbeds, lowbeds, and petroleum tankers for the road transportation industry.
Mid Years: 2009 – 2018

Simba Logistics was established to cater to road freight services serving the East and Central African Regions. By 2014, services expanded to include customs clearing, fleet management, and operations support for smaller haulers.

Simba Terminals commenced operations in February 2023 with investments in state-of-the-art facilities across Tanzania, including:

Tabata CFS
- 10,000 SQM facility
with a 4,200 SQM bonded warehouse for general cargo.
Dar Waterfront CFS, inside Dar es Salaam Port
- 12,000 SQM facility
inside Dar es Salaam Port, featuring a 3,600 SQM warehouse for high-value exports.
Kurasini ECD, near Dar es Salaam Port
- 10,000 SQM facility
designed as an Empty Container Depot with significant storage Capacity.
Mivinjeni Bulk Terminals
- 40,000 SQM facility
state-of-the-art greenfield terminal with dedicated bulk storage of 120,000mt, a 12,000 SQM warehousing facility for general cargo which is set to open in 2026.
Tanga
Tanga Waterfront CFS, inside Tanga Port
- 3,600 SQM facility
for high-value exports.
Nguvumali Logistics Park
- 100,000 SQM facility
greenfield project with specialised sections for dangerous goods container depots, and freight stations, scheduled for 2025.
