Each year on 26th January, the World Customs Organization (WCO) commemerates International Customs Day. This is a special day marked globally for both public and private sector organizations to recognize and celebrate the field of customs in logistics.
Customs is a broad term used across the logistics industry to address the tariffs, taxes and regulations for the movement of goods and services across borders. It also involves the oversight of moving hazardous and dangerous goods.
This year, Simba Supply Chain Solutions joined the Tanzania Revenue Authority to celebrate International Customs Day 2023 together. The event celebrated the theme “Nurturing the next generation: Promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and professional pride in customs”.
Knowledge sharing is an integral part of our work.
