Truck operators Innocent, Ally and Nurudini awarded at flagship Simba Bingwa event

The SSCS family was excited to launch its first ever annual driver awards event yesterday at its Tabata Dar-es-Salaam workshop as part of the ongoing Simba Bingwa performance campaign.

What is Simba Bingwa?

The Simba Bingwa performance management program was initiated in July 2021. The system works by assigning points to various responsibilities truck operators have including workshop checks, receipt collections, documentation sharing and training, among others. The points are tabulated for each driver every month and a league table is drawn up.

So far, the program has shown impressive results, not only in improving truck operator performance, but also enhancing engagement across SSCS towards company values, vision and goals.

2021 winners

For 2021, SSCS is proud to have awarded the following drivers in first, second and third place respectively:

  1. Innocent Austack Mbala (599 points) – pictured centred podium
  2. Ally Hassan Mlowezi (548 points) – pictured right podium
  3. Nurudini Hamza Ramadhani (537 points) – pictured left podium

SSCS wishes Innocent, Ally, Nurudini and the entire company and stakeholders congratulations on our flagship Simba Bingwa event. We look forward to many more years of data-driven peformance enhancement, cohesion among teams and success towards moving Africa.
